Good companion for Yamaha CA-1000
Welcome all
I Finally restored my Yamma CA-1000 She is alive again
So there is a good time for the next move. I'm looking for the tuner good enought to play with this amplifier. For now I have an Yamaha tuner CT-400 but his quality is poor.
I'm thinking about one of CT-800, CT-810, CT-1000 Yamma tuners. Is it good choice? What model of old CT-series are recomended?
Best regards
The silver CT7000 would be the one to get, and that combo would look just stunning sitting in a wooden cabinet, and perform just wonderfully.
Extremely rare to find a CT7000 though at the price we can afford, so any of the ones you mentioned would be more than good enough with the CA1000.
Best is the CT-800, though the 600 seems very close. Both are a big step up from the 400. The 810 was a later and lesser model. The CT-1010 is great but physically larger. Stick with the 600/800. Great tuners that sell for next to nothing. |
